HOW DOES IT WORK ?

Neuromodulators are natural proteins that attach to the muscles in which they are injected to relax them. They can be used to improve the overall appearance of the neck. Their effect helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in addition to that of the platysmal bands, these vertical muscle bands that represent one of the signs of aging in the neck.

PERSONALIZED TREATMENT

PURPOSE

The goal of neuromodulators is to decrease the appearance of platysmal bands of the neck, which creates a tightening effect.

src=

HOW IT WORKS

Neuromodulators are made of natural proteins that attach to the muscles in which they are injected to relax them. When they are injected in the platysmal bands, they give the skin of the neck a smooth and rejuvenated appearance.

src=

RESULTS

We aim for a smoother and younger-looking neck. Before and after results may take up to 2 weeks to be optimal.

src=

TECHNIQUE

Neuromodulators are injected using a syringe with a very small needle. This is a non-surgical technique.

src=

ANESTHESIA

The use of anesthetic cream is not necessary before neuromodulator injections. Discomfort is minimal.

src=

TIME IT TAKES

The duration of a treatment using neuromodulator injections varies between 15 and 30 minutes.

src=

TIME IT LASTS

The effects of neuromodulators last between 4 and 6 months. It is recommended to do 2 to 3 treatments per year to maintain the results. The price of neuromodulators varies depending on the number of units required and the area to be treated.

RECOVERY

Most of the time, recovery from neuromodulator injections occurs within an hour of the procedure. This is the time it takes for the minimal swelling and redness to subside.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this treatment

HOW LONG WILL MY RESULTS LAST ?

Generally, you should do maintenance treatments every 4 to 6 months to maintain your results. Several factors can interfere with the sustainability of your results. Your treating professional will discuss this further with you during your consultation.
We don't want to change your natural physiognomy. Rather, we will help you maintain your natural features while preventing and treating the signs of aging.
We always aim for natural results. Your treating professional will assess your muscle strength and discuss the desired results with you in order to find the perfect dose to treat your platysmal bands.
If you follow the post-treatment instructions provided by your treating professional, you should not have an asymmetrical result. However, most people have natural minor asymmetries, and those can sometimes cause one of the neck muscles to react differently. If you see an asymmetry, it is recommended that you wait for at least 14 days after your treatment before coming back for a correction because most of these asymmetries even out on their own. If you still have asymmetry after that period, you can always come back to see your treating professional so that it can be corrected.
