This video shows the technique used to treat neck skin laxity with the fractional laser.
STEP BY STEP PROTOCOL
TOPICAL ANESTHESIC CREAM APPLICATION AND ASSESSMENT
Your treating professional will conduct your full assessment after reviewing your medical questionnaire, starting with pictures taken from different angles and visual analysis. You will need to apply anesthetic cream to the area to be treated one hour before your treatment to make it more comfortable. Depending on the severity of your neck skin laxity, the treatment depth and the number of passes needed will be determined.
PREPARATION OF THE AREA TO BE TREATED
After letting the anesthetic cream do its work, your treating professional will clean the area to be treated. He will disinfect it with compresses and an alcohol solution. You will be lying down comfortably and will need to wear small protective glasses during the procedure.
LASER TREATMENT WITH ER:YAG
The fractional laser treatment is minimally invasive and will create micro-perforations in your skin. You may hear the sound of a medical air aspirator being used to collect vapors. The procedure will take approximately 30 minutes.
PROTECTION BARRIER AND POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
An occlusive ointment suitable for your skin type will be applied to the treated area. The latter is essential for healing and cell regeneration. Then, your professional will explain the post-treatment instructions and give you a written copy to take home.
