HOW DOES IT WORK ?

MAXIMIZING RESULTS

In order to maximize the results obtained with the PRP, medical-grade skincare products containing high-performance active ingredients can be used at home. Daily use of sun protection also prevents premature aging of the skin.

PURPOSE

The goal of a platelet-rich plasma treatment, or PRP, is to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, improve skin elasticity, and decrease the appearance of fine lines on the face, neck and décolleté.

HOW IT WORKS

PRP is a technique that involves taking a blood sample and then injecting the platelet-concentrated plasma into the surface of the skin.

src=

RESULTS

We aim for smoother, firmer, more hydrated skin and a radiant complexion. It is recommended to perform 3 treatments at a 4-weeks interval for optimal results.

src=

TECHNIQUE

PRP treatment is done using a syringe with a very small needle. This is a non-surgical technique.

src=

ANESTHESIA

The use of numbing cream is not recommended before a PRP treatment. Discomfort is minimal.

src=

TIME IT TAKES

The duration of a PRP treatment varies between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the area to be treated.

src=

TIME IT LASTS

The effects of a PRP treatment last about 12 months. It is recommended to do 1 to 2 treatments per year to maintain the results. Prices vary according to the treated area and the number of sessions required.

RECOVERY

Most of the time, recovery from a PRP treatment occurs within 24 hours of the procedure. This is the time it takes for the minimal swelling and redness to subside.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this treatment

DOES THIS TREATMENT REPLACE DERMAL FILLER AND NEUROMODULATOR INJECTIONS ?

All treatments are unique; they can't replace each other. The results you will get with the PRP treatment are not the same as the results you can expect from injections but those different types of treatments will be perfectly complementary.
No results can be guaranteed in medicine. However, we expect your skin to be visibly firmer and rejuvenated. Some patients notice a difference in their skin after the first treatment while others have to wait until the full course of treatments is done to see results.
You must first consider that each person reacts differently. If you follow the treatment protocol as directed by your professional, you should see results approximately 30 days after the first treatment. The results will multiply with the number of sessions you do.
You should expect to have some normal inflammatory reactions. You will have redness, slight edema, and there might even be a few dried blood droplets on the treated area. Do not worry; these reactions will not be permanent. They should only last between 8 and 12 hours. You will need to follow the post-treatment instructions that your professional will explain to you.
