WHAT ARE THE CAUSES ?
AGE
The gradual loss of collagen, elastin and other structural elements of the skin of the hands is partly responsible for their aging. In addition, with age, the skin of the hands tends to accumulate melanin, which causes the appearance of pigmented lesions.
SUN EXPOSURE
In general, the areas of the skin most exposed to UV rays, like hands, are more at risk of premature aging.
