MAXIMIZING RESULTS

To maximize the results obtained with PRP, it is important to protect your hands with sunscreen all year round as well as hydrating them with a hand moisturizer.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

PURPOSE

The goal of the PRP treatment is to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, improve the skin's elasticity, and reduce the fine lines on the hands, making them look younger.

HOW IT WORKS

PRP treatment uses a technique that involves taking a blood sample and, after recuperating only the platelet-concentrated plasma, injecting it into the surface of the skin.

src=

RESULTS

We aim for smoother, more hydrated skin and a radiant complexion. It is recommended to do 2 to 5 treatments at a 4-weeks interval for optimal before and after results.

src=

TECHNIQUE

Platelet-rich plasma is injected into the skin with tiny needles. Injections are very superficial. This treatment is non-surgical.

ANESTHESIA

The use of anesthetic cream is not necessary before a PRP treatment. Discomfort is minimal.

src=

TIME IT TAKES

A PRP hand rejuvenation treatment takes between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the size of the treated area.

src=

TIME IT LASTS

PRP injection treatment results last around 12 months. It is recommended to do a treatment once or twice a year to maintain the results.

RECOVERY

Most of the time, recovery from a PRP treatment takes 24 to 48 hours. This is the time required for minimal swelling and redness to fade.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this treatment

DOES THIS TREATMENT REPLACE DERMAL FILLER INJECTIONS IN THE HANDS ?

Each of these treatments is unique; one does not replace the other. The results you will obtain with the PRP treatment will not be exactly the same as those obtained with the injection of dermal fillers, but these two treatments will be perfectly complementary.
No guarantee of results can be given in medicine. However, we expect your skin to be healthier and rejuvenated. Some patients obtain visible results from the first treatment while others will require a full course of treatments before noticing a difference. Your treating professional will suggest a number of consecutive treatments to maximize your results.
Each person reacts differently to various medical-aesthetic treatments. If you follow your treating professional's treatment plan, you should normally see results after approximately 30-90 days following the first PRP session. Naturally, the results will multiply with the number of sessions you do.
You should expect to have some normal inflammatory reactions. You will have redness, slight edema, and there might even be a few dried blood droplets. Don't worry; these reactions won't be permanent. They should only last 8 to 12 hours. You will have to follow the post-treatment instructions that your treating professional will explain to you. A written copy will be provided to you.
