HOW DOES IT WORK ?

The Fotona fractional laser uses the Er:YAG laser's energy to create micro-perforations in the eyelid skin and around the eyes to stimulate the production of collagen and thus firm this skin, making it possible to fade or even erase fine lines and wrinkles on this area and to give a lifting effect to the eyelid.

PERSONALIZED TREATMENT

EACH PATIENT IS UNIQUE

With age, the eyebrow line tends to go down and the skin around the eye area tends to sag, which can give a sad and tired look. This phenomenon can also be observed in younger patients. We all have a unique skin and physiognomy, which is why each eye-opening treatment is adapted to each patient.

HOW IT WORKS

This treatment performed with the Fotona device works by sending laser waves that will warm the skin of the eyelids. The heat will stimulate the regeneration of collagen which will make the skin of the eyelids firmer, thus opening the eyes.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this treatment

WHAT WILL MY EYELIDS LOOK LIKE RIGHT AFTER MY APPOINTMENT ?

You should expect to have some normal inflammatory reactions. You will have redness, edema, a feeling of heat, and slight tenderness. There might even be a few dried blood droplets on the treated area. Do not worry; these reactions will not be permanent. They should last between 3 and 7 days. You will need to follow the post-treatment instructions that your professional will explain to you. He will give you a written copy to take home.
You will have normal side effects, including redness and swelling, after your treatment for about 5 days. You may find it uncomfortable to go out in public as long as those effects aren't healed. Be aware that depending on the intensity of the treatment you have received, determined in advance by your professional, your recovery time may be faster. It is at your own discretion to refrain from going out during this time.
Absolutely. Even though normal aging reduces the number of collagen fibers, you will still have a certain amount that can be stimulated. It is therefore never too late to start cosmetic treatments that will stimulate your collagen. However, the earlier you start, the faster the results will be obtained and the better those results will be.
It is not recommended to have direct sun exposure for 4 weeks after your treatment. After this time, we recommend to use good sunscreen if you go in the sun. Know that you should never be in the sun without protection.
