This video shows the technique used to create an eyelid lift with the fractional laser.
STEP BY STEP PROTOCOL
01
INFORMATION SESSION AND EVALUATION
After reviewing your medical questionnaire, your treating professional will conduct your full assessment, starting with pictures taken from different angles and visual analysis. Your face should be thoroughly cleansed to facilitate this assessment. You will then be given all the information you need on the eyelid lift protocol with the fractional laser.
02
ANESTHESIA
You will need to apply an anesthetic cream one hour before your treatment to make it more comfortable. Depending on the severity of your eyelid skin laxity, your professional will determine the number of sessions, the treatment depth, and the number of passes required.
03
TREATMENT WITH THE ER:YAG FRACTIONATED LASER
Fractional laser treatment is minimally invasive and will create micro-perforations in your skin. You may hear the sound of a medical air aspirator being used to collect vapors. The procedure will take approximately 30 minutes. You will have to wear intra-ocular protective lenses.
04
PROTECTION BARRIER AND POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
An occlusive ointment suitable for your skin type will be applied to the treated area. The latter is essential for healing and cell regeneration. Your treating professional will explain the post-treatment instructions and give you a written copy to take home.
