STEP BY STEP PROTOCOL

INFORMATION SESSION, MEDICAL ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT PLAN
After reviewing your medical questionnaire, your treating professional will give you all the necessary information about the Profound treatment. This will be followed by pictures taken from different angles, visual analysis, palpation and demarcation of your anatomy in relation to your specific needs. As soon as you are ready for the treatment, you will need to schedule your appointment for a later date.

ANESTHESIA
We recommend that you arrive at the clinic at least one hour before your treatment to apply a topical anesthetic cream. Your weight will be checked so that the correct amount of injectable numbing agent is prepared for your procedure. Thanks to this local anesthesia, you will not feel the heat of the radiofrequency during the treatment.

TREATMENT
The treatment will begin with complete disinfection of the treated area using compresses soaked in alcohol. Your treating professional will then administer an injectable anesthetic, which will take effect shortly. During the treatment, you should only feel a slight pressure from the contact of the Profound handpiece with your skin.

POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
The treatment will end with the application of an hydrating cream to properly protect your skin. Before leaving, your treating professional will explain the post-treatment instructions and give you a written copy to take home.
