PURPOSE

The goal of the IncontiLase treatment is to tighten pelvic tissue, the urethra and the bladder in order to treat bladder leakage caused by stress urinary incontinence.

src=

HOW IT WORKS

The Fotona device works by sending laser waves to the vaginal wall adjacent to the urethra. These waves will stimulate the regeneration of collagen to tighten the pelvic tissues and treat stress urinary incontinence. This treatment is a good alternative to surgery.

src=

RESULTS

We aim to reduce or even eliminate stress urinary incontinence. It is recommended to do 2 to 3 treatments at an interval of 4 weeks in order to obtain optimal before and after results.

TECHNIQUE

The Fotona device is equipped with an intra-vaginal tip allowing us to send laser waves to the anterior wall of the vagina. This is a non-surgical solution.

ANESTHESIA

The use of anesthetic cream is only necessary at the entrance of the vagina, which is the most sensitive area during the IncontiLase treatment.

src=

TIME IT TAKES

The duration of the IncontiLase treatment is approximately 30 minutes.

src=

TIME IT LASTS

Once the optimal results are obtained, it is recommended to do 1 to 2 treatments per year as needed if the symptoms return. Prices vary depending on the treated area.

RECOVERY

Most of the time, recovery from IncontiLase treatment takes place within a week of the procedure.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this treatment

HOW LONG WILL MY RESULTS LAST ?

In general, you should do a maintenance treatment every 12 to 24 months. Several factors can interfere with the sustainability of your results. Your treating professional will discuss this further with you during your consultation.
The IncontiLase treatment for stress urinary incontinence can only improve this condition.
Not at all. You can go about your business right after your treatment. However, you will need to abstain from vaginal penetration for one week. Also, you should avoid activities that solicit your pelvic muscles, such as jumping or running, for 2 to 4 weeks.
Absolutely. Even though normal aging reduces the number of collagen fibers, you will still have a certain amount that can be stimulated. It is therefore never too late to start medical treatments that will stimulate your collagen. However, the earlier you start, the faster the results will be obtained and the better those results will be.
