PURPOSE

PRP's objective is to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin and improve the elasticity of the skin to significantly reduce the appearance of stretch marks. Platelet-rich plasma treatments can be performed on any skin phototype.

HOW IT WORKS

PRP is a technique that involves taking a blood sample and then injecting platelet concentrated plasma into the surface of the skin to remove stretch marks.

src=

RESULTS

We aim to decrease the appearance of stretch marks. It is recommended to perform 3 to 4 treatments at a 4-weeks interval for optimal before and after results.

src=

TECHNIQUE

PRP treatment is done using a syringe with a very small needle. The injections are very superficial. This is a non-surgical solution.

ANESTHESIA

The use of anesthetic cream is not necessary before a PRP treatment. Discomfort is minimal.

src=

TIME IT TAKES

The duration of a PRP treatment varies between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the size of the treated area.

src=

TIME IT LASTS

The effects of a PRP treatment last about 12 months. It is recommended to do a session once or twice a year to maintain the results. Prices vary depending on the treated area.

RECOVERY

Most of the time, recovery from PRP treatment occurs within 24 hours of the procedure. This is the time it takes for minimal swelling and redness to subside.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this treatment

SHOULD I COMBINE MY TREATMENT WITH OTHER TECHNOLOGIES OR PRODUCTS FOR BEST RESULTS ?

It goes without saying that the combination of non-invasive medico-aesthetic technologies and the right products can improve your results as well as their longevity. You will have a better response by stimulating your collagen in different ways.
No results can be guaranteed in medicine. However, we expect your skin to be visibly healthier and rejuvenated. Some patients notice a difference in their skin after the first treatment while others have to wait until the full course of treatments is done to see results. During your consultation, your treating professional will recommend a number of treatments to maximize your results.
You must first consider that each person reacts differently. If you follow the treatment protocol as directed by your professional, you should see results approximately 30 days after the first treatment. The results will multiply with the number of sessions you do.
You should expect to have some normal inflammatory reactions. You will have redness, slight edema, and there might even be a few dried blood droplets on the treated area. Don't worry; these reactions won't be permanent. They should only last 8 to 12 hours. You will have to follow the post-treatment instructions that your professional will explain to you. A written copy of these instructions will be provided to you.
