After reviewing your medical questionnaire and discussing your personalized treatment plan, your professional will apply a transparent gel to the area to be treated. This area should be shaved in the 24 hours before the treatment. The gel will protect your skin and improve the conduction of the intense pulsed light.

ADJUSTMENT OF PARAMETERS FOR YOUR SKIN AND HAIR TYPE
The treating professional will perform test pulses on a small area using different parameters chosen according to your skin type. Depending on your skin reaction, the professional will be able to determine the safe parameters for your permanent IPL hair removal treatments.

INTENSE PULSED LIGHT TREATMENT
The crystal tip of the IPL device will be slid over the skin to cover the treatment area evenly. A cold plate present on the handpiece will reduce the sensation of heat.

CLEANING AND HYDRATION OF THE AREA
The treatment will end with a cleansing of the skin to remove the excess gel. Then, the professional will apply a moisturizer with sun protection. The post-treatment instructions will be explained, and a written copy will be given to you.
