STEP BY STEP PROTOCOL

INFORMATION SESSION, MEDICAL ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT PLAN
After reviewing your medical questionnaire, your treating professional will give you all the necessary information about the Profound treatment. You will undergo a full assessment starting with pictures taken from different angles, visual analysis, palpation and delineation of your anatomy. Your personalized treatment plan will then be prepared according to that assessment. As soon as you are ready for the treatment, you will need to schedule your appointment for a later date.

ANESTHESIA
We will suggest that you apply an anesthetic cream at least an hour before your treatment. Your weight will be measured so that your treating professional can prepare the adequate amount of injectable anesthetic agent for your procedure. Thanks to this local injectable agent, you will not feel the heat of the radiofrequency during the treatment.

TREATMENT
The treatment will begin with a complete disinfection of your face and neck using compresses soaked in alcohol. Your professional will then administer the injectable anesthetic which will take effect shortly. During the treatment, you should only feel a slight pressure from the contact of the Profound Dermal handpiece with your skin.

POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
The treatment will end with the application of an occlusive cream to properly protect your skin from infections. Before leaving, your professional will explain the post-treatment instructions and give you a written copy to take home. A follow-up will be scheduled, if needed, within 48 hours post-treatment to follow the progress of your recovery.
