PURPOSE

The goal of Sculptra injections is to stimulate collagen production in the treated areas, which will volumize and structure these areas. This will treat facial skin laxity.

src=

HOW IT WORKS

Sculptra is a collagen production stimulator which is 100% biodegradable. It is absorbed and eliminated by the body a few days after its injection, leaving only the patient's new collagen in the treated area.

RESULTS

We aim to fill facial volume losses such as the temples and the hollows of the cheeks in order to treat facial skin laxity. It is recommended to do 2 to 4 treatments at a 6-weeks interval for optimal before and after results.

src=

TECHNIQUE

Sculptra is injected using a syringe fitted with a needle or a cannula, depending on the area and type of skin to be treated. This is a non-surgical technique.

src=

ANESTHESIA

The use of anesthetic cream is not necessary before Sculptra injections but can decrease the discomfort for sensitive people.

src=

TIME IT TAKES

The duration of a Sculptra treatment is approximately 60 minutes.

src=

TIME IT LASTS

The effects of Sculptra last between 3 and 8 years. It is recommended to do an annual treatment to maintain the results. The price of Sculptra varies depending on the patient's anatomy and medical assessment.

RECOVERY

Most of the time, recovery from Sculptra injections occurs within 24 to 48 hours of the procedure. This recovery time can extend to up to 2 weeks if there is bruising.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this treatment

DO I HAVE ENOUGH COLLAGEN TO STIMULATE DESPITE MY AGE ?

Absolutely. Even though the normal aging process reduces the number of collagen fibers, you will still have a certain amount that can be stimulated. It is therefore never too late to start cosmetic treatments that will stimulate your collagen. However, the earlier you start, the faster the results will show and the better those results will be.
You should expect to have some normal inflammatory reactions. You will have redness, edema, a feeling of heat and slight tenderness in the treated area. Do not worry; these reactions will not be permanent. They should last between 24 and 48 hours. You will need to follow the post-treatment instructions that your treating professional will explain to you. He will give you a written copy.
When your injections are made in the right place, with the right products, by our professionals, there is no risk that the treated area will deteriorate when the treatment is stopped. On the contrary, your treatments will delay natural aging, which will only resume its normal course once the effects of the treatments have worn off.
You must first consider that each person reacts differently. If you follow the treatment protocol as directed by your professional, you should see results approximately 6 to 8 weeks after the first treatment. This is the normal time it takes for collagen fibers to regenerate. The results will multiply with the number of sessions you do.
