HOW DOES IT WORK ?

Dermal fillers, made of hyaluronic acid, can be injected to fill areas of the face that have lost volume or that are poorly defined to give a lifting effect and improve facial skin laxity. They also stimulate the production of collagen where they are injected, which has a preventative effect on the appearance of skin laxity over time.

PERSONALIZED TREATMENT

EACH PATIENT IS UNIQUE

The signs of age appear in various ways on the face of each individual. Over time, each of us will face a loss of volume and sagging skin on the face. Treatments using dermal fillers are adapted to the needs of each patient in order to reverse or even prevent the effects of time.

MAXIMIZING RESULTS

In order to maximize the results of dermal fillers when treating facial skin laxity, it is advisable to use medical-grade skincare products containing high-performance active ingredients at home. Daily use of sun protection also prevents premature aging of the skin.

PURPOSE

The goal of dermal fillers is to lift and shape the contours of the face by defining the cheekbones or the chin, for example. A lifting effect without surgery is then possible.

HOW IT WORKS

Most dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a sugar naturally found in the skin. These products are injected in a gel form to improve facial skin laxity as well as to reduce the appearance of deep and superficial wrinkles.

RESULTS

We aim for a rested effect and tightened skin while maintaining natural volumes. The before and after results are immediate but improve over the next few weeks after the injection, as the swelling and redness subside and the products integrate in the skin.

TECHNIQUE

Dermal fillers are injected using a syringe fitted with a needle or a cannula, depending on the area to be injected and the desired effect. This is a non-surgical technique.

ANESTHESIA

The use of anesthetic cream is not necessary before the injection of dermal fillers but can reduce discomfort for sensitive people.

src=

TIME IT TAKES

The duration of a dermal filler treatment varies between 30 and 60 minutes.

src=

TIME IT LASTS

The effect of dermal fillers lasts between 9 and 24 months. It is recommended to do 1 to 2 treatments per year to maintain the results. The price of dermal fillers varies depending on the patient's anatomy and medical evaluation.

RECOVERY

Most of the time, recovery from dermal filler injections occurs within 24 to 48 hours of the procedure. This recovery time can extend to up to 2 weeks if there is bruising.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this treatment

WILL I STILL LOOK LIKE MYSELF AFTER THE TREATMENT ?

Our goal is not to change your physiognomy. Instead, we'll help you maintain and highlight your natural features by preventing and reducing the signs of aging.
You should expect to have some normal inflammatory reactions. You will have redness, swelling, a feeling of heat and slight tenderness. Do not worry; these reactions will not be permanent. They should last between 24 and 48 hours, and up to 2 weeks in some cases for complete healing. You will need to follow the post-treatment instructions that your professional will explain to you. You will have a written copy to take home.
When your injections are done in the right place, with the right products, by our professionals, there is no risk that the appearance of your face will deteriorate when the treatment is stopped. It could return to its original appearance, but it will never be worse than before your first treatment. Your treatments will delay natural aging, which will only resume its normal course once the effects of the treatments have worn off.
Absolutely. We always have hyaluronidase on hand. The latter is an injectable enzyme which can partially or totally degrade fillers. It is always reassuring to know our treatments are reversible. However, we rarely have to use hyaluronidase since we always focus on giving a rejuvenating but natural effect to our patients who are delighted with the results.
