HOW DOES IT WORK ?

The Venus Viva device uses fractionated radiofrequency energy to create micro-perforations in the skin of the face in order to stimulate the production of collagen and thus firm it. This firming helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dilated pores on the face.

STEP BY STEP PROTOCOL

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION OF THE AREA TO BE TREATED

You will need to apply anesthetic cream at least 1 hour before your treatment. After reviewing your treatment plan, your treating professional will clean and disinfect your face using compresses and an alcohol solution.

PARAMETERS ADJUSTMENTS AND TEST PULSES

The professional will do test pulses with different parameters depending on your skin type, if needed. These pulses will be made on a small invisible zone. Depending on your skin reaction, the professional will select the safe parameters for your treatment.

THE FRACTIONAL RADIOFREQUENCY TREATMENT

Venus Viva uses fractional radiofrequency energy to gently resurface the skin on your face. The thermal micro-injuries created in a controlled manner will stimulate the regeneration of collagen.

MOISTURIZING CREAM APPLICATION AND POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

The professional will apply a protective ointment to promote healing and cell regeneration at the end of your treatment. Then, he will explain the post-treatment instructions and give you a written copy to take home.

Everything you need to know about this treatment

WILL I HAVE TO CANCEL ALL MY OUTINGS FOR THE NEXT DAYS ?

After your treatment, you will have expected side effects, like minimal redness and swelling, for a few days. You do not have to cancel all your plans but since those effects may be noticeable, it is advisable not to have any important events planned right after the treatment.
It is possible to do this treatment on darker skin types. However, the parameters will need to be adjusted accordingly. This is why you should be evaluated by your treating professional and be very transparent about your degree of sun exposure in the last few weeks.
We don't want your skin to have to peel. To optimize your skin's healing, you will need to avoid flaking with the regular application of moisturizer and sunscreen.
It is not recommended to have direct sun exposure for 4 weeks after your treatment. After this time, we recommend good sun protection if you go in the sun. Be aware that you should never be in the sun without protection.
