HOW DOES IT WORK ?

Radiesse contains calcium hydroxyapatite microparticles suspended in a gel. These microparticles stimulate collagen production by activating fibroblasts. Once injected under the skin, Radiesse will be metabolized naturally and will provide long-lasting lifting and facial definition results. Used on the body, Radiesse will diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and smooth the skin.

Everything you need to know about this technology

DOES IT HURT ?

The procedure is well tolerated by most patients. To avoid pain during the injection, an anesthetic cream may be applied to your face or body before the treatment.
The procedure lasts from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area and the total number of injections.
The initial effect is visible immediately after the procedure. However, the final results are only visible after 2 to 3 months. In most patients, the effect lasts on average 12 to 18 months. The effect of Radiesse injections may differ between patients, depending on their age, health, lifestyle and adherence to post-treatment recommendations.
Radiesse injections are a minimally invasive procedure. Immediately after the treatment, you will be able to resume your daily activities. Slight redness, bruising or swelling at the injection sites may occur but will disappear spontaneously within a few days after the procedure.
The use of sunscreen and medical-grade skincare, along with a healthy lifestyle, can significantly extend the effect of Radiesse injections.
Your treating professional will discuss with you whether you are a good candidate for Radiesse. Radiesse injections are safe and have no major side effects. However, after the procedure, redness, swelling, or bruising may appear but will disappear spontaneously and quickly.
Contraindications to Radiesse injections include autoimmune diseases, active herpes, skin inflammation at the treatment site and pregnancy, among others.
